No. 196-02 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> <br /> TIME: 10:20 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 196-02, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 196-02, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 206 by Director of Finance <br /> William Takaba, via Communication No. 585, dated Apri14, 2002, authorizes the Office of the <br /> Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Health for an EMS <br /> Childhood Injury Prevention grant. <br /> The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the State Department of I-Iealth, <br /> Emergency Medical Services System, has authorized funding for EMS personnel to conduct <br /> community prevention projects by producing videos about "Soccer Injury Prevention". Mr. <br /> David Cecil, a Firelight/MICT with the Hawaii County Fire Department, who applied for the <br /> grant, will produce these videos along with other volunteers.
