Radiation sterilized, enzyme inactivated meats can be
transported at ambient temperatures and stored inexpensively without
refrigeration. Beef from Hawaii can make an economic comebackt
Foods are not made radioactive by irradiation.
Mayor Yamashiro wlll be helping all of Hawaii ...and all of us in the
transportation sector. Please pass this along to the membership,
Sincerely,
L e Thkeuchi
e ent
cc: Hawafl County Council
212 .
. 1~>e No.FNn IG~P ~
Presented
ApR 2 4 1997
Ref.
