Discharge of storm water runoff associated with <br /> construction activities, including clearing, grading, <br /> and excavation that result in the disturbance of equal to <br /> or greater than five (5) acres of total land area; <br /> b. Construction dewatering effluent; <br /> c. Non-contact cooling water; <br /> d. Hydrotesting water; and <br /> e. Treated contaminated groundwater from underground storage <br /> tank remedial activity. <br /> The application for NPDES general permit coverage should be <br /> submitted to the Director at least 30 days prior to the discharge <br /> to State waters. <br /> If there is any type of process wastewater discharge from the <br /> facility into State waters, the applicant may be required to apply <br /> for an Individual NPDES permit.
