Also contains sec. 264-1(c)(2) which provides that surrender ofpublic <br /> highways shall be deemed to have taken place if owner exercises no act of ownership <br /> within five years and if county highway, council adopts roadway as county highway or <br /> trail. <br /> Chapter 265A, HRS -County Highways and Sidewalks <br /> Contains sec. 265A-1, HRS, relating to County maintenance and repair of county <br /> highways, bikeways, sidewalks. <br /> Chapter 286, HRS -Highway Safety <br /> Contains sections relating to: vehicle registration, driver licensing, transportation of <br /> hazardous waste, administrative revocation of drivers licenses, etc. <br /> Chapter 291, HRS -Traffic Violations <br /> Contains sections relating to.• operation of vehicles, including provisions regulating <br /> reckless driving and driving while intoxicated, equipment; and parking for disabled <br /> persons. <br /> Chapter 291 C, HRS -Statewide Traffic Code <br /> Contains general provisions regulating traffic upon highways and elsewhere, as <br /> specified, in the State of Hawaii.
