(1)(2) 25 <br /> Investigates trafric-related accidents; cites for moving traffic violations, regulatory violations and parking violations; <br /> takes measurements and photographs scene, places charges and prepares detailed reports with scaled diagrams <br /> according to existing laws, ordinances and departmental policies; makes intensive follow-up investigations of traffic <br /> accident rases, inducting felony and misdemeanor cases involving fatalities; testifies in court; operates a police <br /> vehicle to patrol areas having high vehicle accident rates; directs flow of motor vehice traffic; reports hazardous <br /> traffic conditions and recommends improvements; advises and assists patrol personnel in proper traffic accident <br /> investigation techniques; compiles and prepares daily statistical reports on traffic accidents as required.
