The retailers, who lease the <br /> cabanas from the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, need a loading zone for their <br /> deliveries. The Hilo Hawaiian Hotel management supports this request and we <br /> have no objections from the other businesses. <br /> We request the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-288, <br /> Schedule 36, Freight Loading Zones under South Hilo be amended as described in <br /> the attached draft for an ordinance. A location map is attached. <br /> Under separate cover, we are transmitting the proposed ordinance to the Public <br /> Works Committee Chair for introduction. <br /> We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject <br /> amendment.
