Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM): The project site is classified as Zone X, areas <br />determined to be outside the 500 -year flood plain. <br />20. Flora/Fauna Resources: The project site and surrounding area have been previously <br />cleared and developed for residential purposes. The project site has been recently <br />bulldozed and therefore, no rare or endangered species of plants or animals are situated <br />on the property. <br />21. Archaeological Resources: There are no known historic sites on the project site. <br />Because the entire property as well as the surrounding area has been extensively altered <br />by residential use, it is not anticipated that there are any historic sites. <br />22. Public Access: There is no public access to the mountains or the shoreline that traverses <br />the project area. <br />23. Valued Cultural Resources: The project site was at one time developed for residential <br />use and therefore, protection of traditional and customary Native Hawaiian rights does <br />not apply. <br />-5- <br />
