REQUEST: <br /> Amend the operating budget for the County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004 by increasing <br /> revenues by $15,000 in the Solid Waste Fund account #3305.06 for glass recycling/disposal. Grant amount <br /> from state has increased from $283,000 to $298,000. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Advanced disposal fees are collected by the state and granted for the purpose of diverting glass from <br /> landfills.
