Kubnjiri, dated July 17, 2003, transmitting, as required by Resolution 46-O1. the above report of a marijuana eradication mission held on .tune 16-19, 2003, in East Hawaii. The report indicates the number of plants eradicated. During this mission, no complaints were received. Several of the current truck tractors arc in excess of 10 years of age, have high mileage, incur major repairs, and are approaching the end of their useful life. Further, the Solid Waste Fund does not have the resources to purchase the referenced equipment and therefore requests the authority to enter into a lease agreement for five years.
