Prom Controller Deanna Sako, dated July 18, 2003, transmitting two Reports of Transfers
Authorized showing transfers made from July 1-15, 2003 and copies of the approved
transfer forms. "I'he lirst report shows transfers relating to the tscal year ended June 30,
2003, and the second relates to the current fiscal year.
Comm. 12.8: MARLIUANA ERADIC'AT'ION MISSION REPORT FOR'hHI? MONTH OF .ZUNI'.

From Acting Police Chief Harry S. Kubnjiri, dated July 17, 2003, transmitting, as
required by Resolution 46-O1. the above report of a marijuana eradication mission held
on .tune 16-19, 2003, in East Hawaii. The report indicates the number of plants
eradicated. During this mission, no complaints were received.
Comm. 287: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 03-91, AS AMENDED, THE
(Bill 127) OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF IIAWAI'1 FOR'PHE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2004 (providing an additional $15.000 Prom the State Department of
Health to the Department of Enviromnental Management for its Glass Recycling
Program, bringing the total ~r~ ant appropriation to $298,000)

From Finance Director William Takaba, dated July 16, 2003, transmitting the above
resolution.
Several of the current truck tractors arc in excess of 10 years of age, have high mileage,
incur major repairs, and are approaching the end of their useful life. Further, the Solid
Waste Fund does not have the resources to purchase the referenced equipment and
therefore requests the authority to enter into a lease agreement for five years.
