corporation, whose principal place of buoiness is located at
512 Kinoole Street, City of Hilo, Island of Hawaii, Torritosy,
of Hawaii, heroinafter called the "GRANTOR", end the TLRRTTORY
OF HAWAII, hereinafter onllod the "GRANTEE",
W ITNESSET.H THAT :
WIDAIEAS, the Grantor to the o•.mor of a certain parcol
Of land situate at Kulcunu 21)d, South Hilo, Island of-!M'nil
oforesatd, horoinbelowmore particularly desoribed., that. the
Grantoo desires to acquire for a publid purpose, namely, the
construction of a public road; and
WHEREAS, the Grantee in the owner of certain other land
at Kularnu 2nd aforesaid, herainbolow more fully doscrtbod,
that the Grantor in willing to accept in exchange for the land
first above mentioned on a land for land basis; paid
YJREREAS, the land to be conveyed by said Grantee com-
prisos an area less than forty (40) acres, and does riot
exceed FIVE THOUSAND PND N0/100 DOLLA113 ({6,000.00) in value,
and said oxohruzpe has boon epprovod by two-thirds of the
mombors of the Hoard of Public Lands of the Territory of'Ilawal.i
at its meeting hold on Auguat 22, 1952 (Land Board No. 3131),
pursuant to the provictions of Section 73 of the organic Act of
the Territory of Hawaii;
NOW, THERT-TORE, the Grantor, in consideration of the

hereby grant end convey to maid Grantee, its succesnore and
assigns, absolutely and in fee simple, all of the following;
described parcel of land:
Kukuau 2nd, South Hilo, Hawaii
Being a portion of R.P. 5706, L.C.Aw. 852.1-B,
Apana 2 to G. D. Rueu.
Beginning at the north corner of this parcel of land,
on the southwesterly side of Kinoole Street, sold point of
beginning being 136* 18, 45" 138.93 feet from the intersec-
tion of the centerlines of Kinoolo and Kukuau Streets, the
coordinates of said eanterline intersection referred to Govern-
ment Survey Triangulation Station "HALAI" being 869.87 feet
North and 3927.15 feet East, and running by ar.muthn measured.
clockwise from True South: -
1. 328* 47' 25.32 feet along the southwesterly side of
Kinoole Street;
2. 580 471 74.25 feet;
3. 1470 341 25.33 feet along the northeasterly side of
Alenaio Street;
4. 238* 471 74.79 feet to the point of beginning and con-
taining an Area of 1887 Square
Feet.
TO HAVE AND TO BOLD the same, together with all the
rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances therounto be-
longing or in any wise appertaining or held and enjoyed there-
with, unto said Grantee, its successors and assigns forever.
AND said Grantor, for itself, its successors and asnigns,
does hereby covenant that it Is lawfully seised of the granted
promises in fee simple; that it has good right to grant and -
convey the same as aforesaid; that the same ere free and
clear of al 1 encumbrances and that it will and its successors
and assigns shall WARRANT AND DEFEND the same unto said
Grantee, its ouacessorn and assigns forever, agd net the
lawful claims and demands of all persona whomsoever.

AND the Grantee, In consideration of the conveyance
to it of the foregoing described parcel of land, does hereby
grant and convey to said Grantor, its successors and assigns,
the following described parcel of land:
Portion of Alenaio Street
Abandoned by Resolution 376 dated
October 4, 1951 of the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Hawaii.
Rukuau 2nd, South Hilo, Hawaii
Being a portion of R:P. 5706, L.C.Aw.
8521-B, Apana 2 to 0. D. Rueu.
Beginning at the southeast corner of this parcel of land,
on the northerly side of 8ukueu Street, said point of beginning
being 60" 531 56e 102.07 feet from the intersection of the
centerlines of 8inoole and gukuau Streets, the coordinates of
said oenterline intersection referred to Government Survey Tri-
angulation Station eHALAI^ being 869.87 feet North and 3927.15
feet East, and running by azikuthe measured clockwise from True
South: -
1. 490 361 25.24 test along the northerly side of 8ukuau
Street;
P. 1470 341 100.59 feet;
3. 2290 37f 25.24 feet across the remaining portion of
Alenaio Street;
4. 3270 34t 100.59 feet to the point of beginning and con-
