After much deliberation, the committee <br /> decided to defer this measure pending a special meeting where further information may be <br /> presented by both opponents and proponents of the program. <br /> The special meeting has been scheduled for Monday, June 16, 1997, a[ 9:00 a.m. We would <br /> like to request that representatives from the Hawaii County Police Department be in <br /> attendance to answer questions which may arise in regard to departmental procedures during <br /> eradication missions, the Countys responsibilities in adhering to grant conditions, and other <br /> related issues. <br /> Should you have any questions, please feel free to call myself or my Legislative Assistant, <br /> Liana Cox at 961-8491. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> ~ <br /> Aaron S.Y.
