WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the Council <br /> <br /> may accept gifts which include the dedication of land, on behalf of the County of Hawaii; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, <br /> in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, that the County of Hawaii <br /> accepts the real property in the attached dedication deed (Exhibit "A") and more specifically identified as <br /> Tax Map Key (3) 1-6-143-41, consisting of 1.112 acres, more or less, and all improvements on it, from <br /> W.H. SHIPMAN, LIMITED. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a thank you letter be sent to W. H. Shipman and copies of this <br /> <br /> resolution be forwarded to the following: <br /> (1) W.H. Shipman, Limited, P. O. Box 950, Kea`au, Hawaii 96749; (2) Department of Public Works; <br /> (3) Department of Parks and Recreation, and (4) Ivan M.
