At a Planning Commission meeting <br /> on November 7 in Kailas-Kona, Nani Kona Aina, LLC's proposal was presented for the <br /> following: <br /> a. State Land Use Boundary Amendment for 14.53 acres from the Agricultural to the <br /> Urban District <br /> b. Change of Zone for 14.53 acres from the Agricultural 5-acre (A-Sa) to the Single <br /> Family Residential - 10,000 square foot (RS-10) district <br /> Many residents of the adjoining neighborhoods of Kona Heights and Kailua View Estates <br /> testified about their concerns on this issue. As a result, the Planning Commission voted 5-2 to <br /> deny the rezone request. <br /> This is a very important matter to many homeowners in Kailas-Kona. We strongly urge you to <br /> hold the meeting here. <br /> Thank you for you consideration. Please let us know if you need more information.
