We were pleased with the <br /> commission's vote and look forward to similar action at the Council level. <br /> <br /> This brief note is a request to hold County Council hearing on this matter <br /> in Kona rather than Hilo. It is a great inconvenience on Kona residents to <br /> make the effort to attend the Hilo meetings. On issues unrelated to Kona it <br /> is understandable, however on issues directly impacting our community it is <br /> helpful when we can present our case in person rather than through letters <br /> <br /> or intermediaries. <br /> In addition to our request for the hearing to be held in Kona, I also <br /> strongly urge you to oppose this rezoning.
