Chung, Chair _ <br /> And Members of the Finance Committee <br /> FROM: Connie Kiriu ~ ~ i <br /> Legislative Auditor <br /> RE: Federal and State Urant Revenues <br /> Notifications and Final Report <br /> 1~ fiscal Year 2003-2004 Ordinance No. 03-91 <br /> Pursuant to Section 7 of Ordinance No. 03-91, the receipt of federal/state grant revenues <br /> conditioned disbursement on (1) receipt of a notification of grant award from the grantor, or <br /> receipt of notification from the grantor that the grmit award will be forthcoming and that the <br /> County is authorized to incur costs pursuant to suds grant award; (2) written notice to the <br /> Cow~cil including a copy of the notification from the grantor; and (3) a final report, or the linal <br /> report required by the grantor, shall he suhminal to the Council upon completion of the grant <br /> program(s). <br /> We have been closely monitoring compliance with Section 7 and would like to share our results <br /> to date.
