AGING <br />AGING <br />Non -Contracted Services <br />1. Caregiver Support, Education, and Training: Caregiver Resource Center. <br />a. Provide all clients assisted the opportunity to evaluate the quality of resource <br />materials available in the resource center of which at least 30% of clients assisted <br />will respond favorably indicating increased knowledge of the caregiver. <br />99% of clients assisted indicated increased knowledge of caregiving. <br />b. Provide all workshop and conference attendees the opportunity to evaluate the <br />usefulness and effectiveness of the information covered at 3 training sessions <br />relating to caregiver issues of which at least 70% of attendees will respond <br />favorably. <br />100% of attendees responded favorably to information provided at 3 <br />educational sessions for caregivers. <br />2. Community -Based Planning. <br />a. Plan and/or implement at least 5 community -driven, health and safety related <br />projects. <br />120% (6) of community -driven, health and safety related projects were <br />planned and implemented as of December 31, 2003: <br />• Emergency Kits <br />• Emergency Flashers, Smoke Alarms, <br />First Aid Kits, <br />Magnetic Emergency Numbers <br />• Emergency Kits <br />• Home Security <br />Ka`u <br />Honoka`a, N. Hilo, N. Kohala <br />South Kona <br />South Hilo <br />b. Provide community partners the opportunity to evaluate collaborative approaches <br />of which at least 30 community partners will report that they believe in <br />collaborative approaches and that collaborative ventures were successful. <br />Community surveys will be conducted upon completion of each project. <br />Six Month Progress Report on Program Objectives for FY2003-04 <br />
