The County of Hawaii Fire Department funding has not <br /> seemed to benefit from this population increase and I am writing this letter to express my expectation <br /> that funding for the County of Hawaii Fire Department either not decrease or, preferabty, increase. <br /> The Fire Department is directly responsible for public safety, inGuding fire protection, emergency <br /> services, fire prevention and other necessary functions which directly and positively impact the bcal <br /> community of which you are a part.
