The Terrace is expected to have up to 750 residential units including units for long-term visitors. <br /> The projected impact on the area's schools is estimated to be between 200 and 320 additional students. <br /> The DOE requests that the County of Hawaii include as a condition of zoning, a school contribution, using the <br /> standard fair-share language used in rezoning. The proposed wording is: <br /> The Applicant shall contribute to the development, funding, and/or construction of school <br /> facilities, on a fair-share basis, as determined by and to the satisfaction of the Department of <br /> Education.
