The <br /> handful of people against this project represents a noisy minority and not the silent <br /> majority in favor of it. <br /> I believe that the project complies with the General Plan and the Kona Regional Plan and I <br /> think the Council should act to support plans for the area and pursue regional roadway <br /> improvements, rather than stopping development that is consistent with the existing plans. <br /> Also, by approving this project, you will insure that needed improvements are made to the <br /> regional water system, which is very much in trouble without the new Waiaha water <br /> system improvements.
