LEHUA LANI, LLC
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO REZONING RECOMMENDATION
Condition D
A [ 10] 5-foot wide no vehicular access planting screen easement shall be
delineated along all lots fronting Alii Drive. Vehicular access to the
individual lots shall not be permitted from Alii Drive.
Rationale: We have increased the requirement of a future road widening
strip along the length of Alii Drive from 5 to 10 feet at the request of the
Planning Director. To make up for this added contribution, it is felt that a 5-
instead of a 10-foot planting screen easement should be sufficient.
Condition T
The applicant, if required by the Hawaii County Civil Defense A ency, shall
purchase and install its fair share of an Emergency Outdoor Warning Siren,
acceptable to the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency. An Emergency
Response Plan shall also be submitted to the Hawaii County Civil Defense
Agency for review and approval prior to receipt of final subdivision
approval.
Rationale: There is a County siren along Royal Poinciana Drive, less than''/z
mile from the site. As such, there may not necessarily be a need for an
additional siren. If needed, however, the applicant should be responsible for
its proportionate share of this improvement.
Delete Condition V relating to DOE impact fee assessment.
Rationale: This is a State function.
RECEiv tt~
. -
y...
poro- ~ynty ~„incil

(Submitted b;- Councilman Leningrad Elarionoff) Comm.
