Please appropriate the $10,000 <br /> increase into Fire's General Fund grant revenue account, numbered 3303.00 and titled <br /> "Volunteer Fire Assist" and into their expenditure account, numbered 010-221-5221.38 <br /> and titled "Voluntr Fire Assist -Fed"; bringing the total of both accounts to $60,000. <br /> Also, the Department of Environmental Management's Solid Waste Division has been <br /> notified that they are the recipients of a $10,000 Fats, Oils and Grease Study grant from <br /> the State of Hawaii, Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism <br /> (DBEDT). These funds will be used to conduct a study to determine the market potential <br /> for the production of biodiesel based on current generation levels of Fats, Oils and <br /> Grease. We ask the Council to include this DBEDT grant in the FY2004-05 operating <br /> budget by creating the General Fund revenue account, numbered 3305.36, and the <br /> expenditure account, numbered 085-601-5604.34, both titled "Fats, Oils and Grease <br /> Study". <br /> If at this time, the Council elects not to act upon our request to amend the proposed FY <br /> 2004-05 budget, we will submit the proper resolution and bills to appropriate these grants <br /> in early July. ~ p <br /> Comm.
