BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> The County of Hawaii, Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division applied for a Dell <br /> Computer Recycling Grant in the amount of $10,000 to conduct a computer recycling event in West Hawaii <br /> in January 2005. Dell awarded 20 grants in this Fall 2004 grant cycle and the County of Hawaii was <br /> selected as a recipient out of 175 applicants.
