Today it took 1 hour and fifteen <br /> minutes to drive from Kailua-Kona to Kealakekua. That's downtown to the <br /> hospital. Awful! <br /> Clifto's will make it worse. The airport to Kailua-Kona now takes a half <br /> hour in the afternoon. It used to take 8 minutes. Please vote against <br /> Clifto's project in Kona. <br /> There is NO reason that I can see to vote for it. If you know of a valid <br /> reason, one reason, let me know and I'd be happy to reconsider. (And don't <br /> say "jobs" please. Saying that in Kona is like saying that Hilo could use a <br /> sewage processing plant on the main street of town because it would create <br /> "jobs.".
