Bond <br /> Request: A-20a to A-l0a <br /> Tax Map Key?-3-27:21 <br /> <br /> The Planning Commission, after a duly held public hearing on September 3, 2004, voted to <br /> recommend for your approval the proposed legislative bill to change the district classification <br /> from Agricultural 20-acre (A-20a) to an Agricultural 10-acre (A-10a) district for approximately <br /> 20.992 acres of land. The property is located along the southeast side of Kaloko Drive, <br /> approximately 500 feet west (makai) of the Kaloko Drive-Huehue Street intersection, Kaloko <br /> Mauka Subdivision, Kaloko, North Kona, Hawaii. <br /> <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the change of zone: <br /> <br /> <br /> The applicant is requesting a Change of Zone from Agricultural 20-acre (A-20a) <br /> to Agricultural 10-acre (A-I Oa) for approximately 20.992 acres of land to subdivide the <br /> properties into two lots approximately ten acres in size to be used as <br /> residential/agricultural lots. The applicant proposes to construct a dwelling on each lot. <br /> Each dwelling is estimated to cost approximately $450,000. <br /> <br /> In order to consider an area for any type of zoning designation, the applicable <br /> goals, policies and standards of the General Plan must be adequately addressed.
