(2) The following areas shall be designated a transportation kokua <br /> zone: <br /> ~A) The "Kona district zone" between Hawaiian Ocean View <br /> Estates/Hawaiian Ocean View and Kawaihae. <br /> (B) The "Puna district zone" between Pahoa and Hilo <br /> (3) The transportation kokua zone shall not apply to County contracted <br /> shared-ride taxi services County operated curb to curb van <br /> services, or County operated non-scheduled bus services <br /> (4) A designated transportation kokua area shall terminate two years <br /> after its implementation, unless extended or terminated by the <br /> Council. <br /> (5) Within one year of the date of the implementation and again not <br /> later than 90 days prior to termination of the transportation kokua <br /> zone, the Transit Administrator shall report to the Hawaii County <br /> Council on the impact of its implementation at which time the <br /> Council may extend or terminate the established zone(s) <br /> SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. <br /> In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not <br /> be included. <br /> SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any <br /> person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> 2 <br /> <br />
