<br /> Good morning council members: <br /> <br /> My name is Donald Ikeda and I am once again presenting <br /> <br /> testimony against Bi11248 (Draft 4) and Bi11248 (Draft 5). <br /> I oppose the University Terrace Subdivision because the developer <br /> has not addressed the flooding, traffic, schools, and other problems <br /> that will affect the present infrastructure with this large <br /> development, even though they have reduced the project by a small <br /> amount. This subdivision is East Hawaii's Hokulea or Cliftos <br /> development. <br /> The residents of District 2 are not against development but oppose <br /> irresponsible development. The residents of district 2 are <br /> requesting that the Council postpone the decision on Bi11248 Draft <br /> 4 and 5 so that we, the community are able to have a serrate with <br /> the County and the developer. This will allow for awin-win <br /> solution because the developer will have a development that the <br /> community can support. <br /> I am asking our Council member Mike Tulang to reconsider his <br /> decision on this development.
