Six months ago, we were discredited for not knowing what we were talking about; at the next <br /> hearing, we were dismissed for not being specific enough; at the third hearing, we were told our <br /> specifics could not be addressed because it would be illegal; at the last meeting, we were told <br /> there was insufficient time to address our concerns. And here we are, once again agendized to <br /> the next Council meeting. All the while, the bill continues to move forward with more restrictive <br /> language added at each of these meetings. <br /> It is time to open the door wider to a more honest, collaborative effort with the large group you <br /> aze proposing to regulate. It is essential to the eventual success of a revised sign code.
