Arakaki, Chair <br /> & Members Hawaii County Council <br /> FROM: Dominic Yagong, Chair <br /> Committee on Public Works & arks <br /> RE: Resolution No. 114, Draft 3 <br /> In Relation To Hunting Rights <br /> As discussed at the Public Works and Pazks meeting held July 1, 1997, I am circulating a draft 3 <br /> of Resolution No. 114. This draft addresses punctuation errors in the first, second and fifth <br /> "WHEREAS" sequences and amends the last "RESOLVED" clause to include the names of <br /> Representative Paul Whalen and Hawaii's Congressional delegation. <br /> Also considered at this meeting was the possibility of further amending this resolution to include <br /> language that would afford protection to pigs in areas such as Kulani. However, after discussing <br /> this with the interested parties, it was decided that this matter would be best addressed in a <br /> separate resolution. I have spoken to Mr. Ron Bachman, DLNR, about introducing a separate <br /> resolution to address these specific azeas and he should be following up on the matter as <br /> appropriate. <br /> Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this resolution. <br /> Thank you. <br /> Come.
