This reappointment was effective at noon on December 6, 2004. <br /> Since 2002, Ms. Bell has served as the Director of Environmental Management for the County <br /> of Hawaii. Prior to then, she was employed as the executive director of Recycle Hawaii, a <br /> non-profit educational organization. In addition, she served as the co-chair, along with Riley <br /> Smith, of the County's Environmental Management Commission. She also served in 1995-96 <br /> as the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii. <br /> Ms. Bell will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure, which will end on December I , 2008. <br /> Thank you for your favorable consideration of this appointment.
