minimum amount of coverage under such policy shall be $1,000,000 per occurrence. <br /> The policy and coverage shall be kept in force until the banner is removed from the <br /> county street, and shall not be cancelled before the banner is removed without thirty <br /> (30) days prior written notice to the County. <br /> (C) The director may issue a banner permit for a period not to exceed seven consecutive days in <br /> a calendar year, if all the following criteria are met: <br /> (i) The banner will not exceed one hundred square feet and the lowest edge of the banner <br /> will be at least fifeen feet above the highest point of the roadway. <br /> (ii) Written statements of consent from every property owner and lessee directly fronting <br /> the proposed banner site. <br /> (iii) The applicant has executed an agreement to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the <br /> county as provided above, to the satisfaction of the corporation counsel. <br /> (iv) The applicant has submitted a certificate of insurance and proof of a public liability <br /> insurance policy meeting the requirements as provided above, to the satisfaction of the <br /> finance director and the corporations counsel. <br /> (v) The banner will not impede public use of the street or endanger pedestrians including <br /> persons with disabilities. <br /> (2) Subdivision identification sign. One sign, per legal subdivision roadway access, of either a ground <br /> or wall type, relating to the identification of subdivision within a district. Neither sign shall not <br /> exceed sixteen (16) square feet in area. <br /> Section 3-10. Signs permitted in residential districts. (RS, RI), RM) <br /> <br /> The following types of signs are allowed, with a permit, in the RS, RD and RM districts: <br /> <br /> (a) One sign, either wall or Found (unlighted or indirectly lighted), not exceeding six square feet in area. <br /> Commercial signs shall relate to a legally permitted activity being conducted on the premises. <br /> Section 3-11. Signs permitted in commercial/industrial districts (RCX, V, CN, CG, CV, MCX, ML, MG). <br /> <br /> (a) The following types of signs are allowed, with a permit, in commercial/industrial districts (RCX, V, CN, <br /> CG, CV, MCX, ML, MG): <br /> (1) Directory Sign. <br /> (A) If the lot frontage is up to 100 lineal feet, a directory sign may not exceed sixteen square <br /> feet, except that no wall directory sign may exceed the lesser of sixteen square feet or fifteen <br /> percent of the wall area on which it is located. <br /> (B) If the lot frontage is greater than 100 lineal feet, a directory sign may not exceed twenty-four <br /> square feet, except that no wall directory sign may exceed the lesser oftwenty-four square <br /> feet or fifteen percent of the wall area on which it is located. <br /> -I1- <br /> <br />
