Draft 5 includes the following <br /> changes to Draft 4: <br /> 1. It replaces the term '`eleemosynary" with "nonprofit organization that is exempt <br /> from taxation pursuant to section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code, 26 U.S.C., <br /> as amended." <br /> 2. It deletes "honeybees" from the definition of animals and deletes the last sentence <br /> in the current definition of animals. It also adds "farm animals and poultry" to the <br /> current definition. <br /> 3. It deletes references to "small" domesticated animals. <br /> 4. It replaces references to "destruction of,' and "destroying" dogs with broader <br /> terms "disposal" and "disposing of." <br /> 5. It adds "treating" dogs as one of the purposes of a pound. <br /> 6. It provides that the County's definition of "cruelty" supplements the definition <br /> found in Hawaii Revised Statutes. <br /> 7.
