Mr. Cook indicated that you had requested our presence at the <br /> continuation of the Planning Committee meeting on March 15"'. Unfortunately, <br /> we have other commitments that will prohibit us from attending and for this we <br /> apologize. <br /> After talking with Mr. Cock we held a meeting on haw we want to go forward with <br /> the development and construction of the rental project. It was decided that it will <br /> be in our best interests to structure a joint venture of sorts with Mr. Cook. He <br /> has Gved in Kona for a number of years and knows the community's needs. He <br /> indicated to us that affordable rentals are a top priority. He was the one who <br /> originally proposed that •ae seek approval For a rental housing only project. We, <br /> if rezoning is approved, wilt be sharing the substantial cost of the roadways and <br /> drainage channel improvements with Pua'a Development, LLC., so it makes <br /> sense to us to have Per. Cock on our team. <br /> With this in mind, we have requested that Mr. Ceok represent us at this upcoming <br /> meeting.
