Our current strategy to address the future <br /> disposal of East Hawaii refuse is to construct a Long Haul Transfer Station & Material Recovery <br /> Facility (MRF) complex near the Hilo Landfill. The MRF, the proposed C & D landf..:..;.:... <br /> adjoining green waste operations should divert a significant percentage of the waste stream to <br /> minimize the solid waste to be transported to the West Hawaii Landfill for disposal. We <br /> anticipate planning, design and construction to take approximately three years, where upon we <br /> will begin long haul operations. <br /> The documents listed below are attached to detail what we propose as our strategy and timetable <br /> to implement this plan. <br /> 1.
