Now the protected area at Waihee is used by students from local schools, and their <br /> <br /> are community work days to remove rubbish, clear weeds and restore the wetland habitat. <br /> Hawaii County has even more to gain from a designated, well funded land fund because of our <br /> <br /> diverse landscapes and rich agricultural lands that can also receive distinct federal ag <br /> <br /> funds.
