Angel; jarakaki@co.hawaii.us; Higa, Stacy;
fholschuh@co.hawaii.us; Ikeda, Donald; Isbell, Virginia; Jacobson, Bob; Safarik, Gary
Subject: SuffolWPuapua'aiki development
There is an excruciating traffic gridlock on Highway 11 in West Hawaii that will undeniably worsen as construction
progresses on the buildings already approved for construction. The knowledge of this absolute makes it
impossible to believe the County Council would consider approving any new projects until this critical problem is
solved.
We urge you to reject this project and any similar which come before you. Hopefully, the need for affordable
housing on the Big Island will propel you to move quickly in correcting the infrastructure problems so that the
community will support you on proposals for construction of the type of housing that is truly necessary.
Barbara Isley/Gregory Wilson
75-6190'Akoa Place
Kailua-Kona
c_
Gomm.
