The properties are located at the southwestern comer of the <br /> <br /> Kalanikoa Street-Hualani Street intersection, Waiakea Houselots, South Hilo, Hawaii. <br /> <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the change of zone: <br /> The applicants are requesting a Change of Zone for 45,800 square feet of land <br /> from aSingle-Family Residential - 10,000 square foot (RS-10) to a Limited Industrial - <br /> 2Q000 square foot (ML-20) district in order to relocate their plumbing business. The <br /> applicants intend to consolidate the two existing parcels and will demolish Che existing <br /> structures. Anew 12,800 square foot (80' x 160') steel-framed structure will be <br /> constntcted. <br /> Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br /> <br />
