(3) Photographs of the sign, if available, and of the area where the sign will be erected; <br /> (4) A plan or design of the sign showing its weight, dimensions, lighting equipment, <br /> materials, details of its attachment and hanging, and its position relative to the building <br /> and street lines; <br /> (5) The sign permit fee; <br /> (6) Any electrical permit required and issued for the sign; <br /> (7) Any other information pertinent to the application as maybe required by the chief <br /> engineer. <br /> Section 3-17. Compliance with chapter. <br /> Any permit, variance, or other approval issued pursuant to this chapter shall comply with all <br /> <br /> applicable requirements of this chapter. <br /> Section 3-18. Action on permit application. <br /> (a) Upon receiving an application for a sign permit, the Building Division shall: <br /> Review the permit application for completeness; <br /> (2) If the application is deficient, identify and notify the applicant of the deficiencies in <br /> writing; <br /> (3) If the application is complete, begin to process the application. <br /> (b) Upon receiving a complete application for a sign permit, the chief engineer shall: <br /> (1) Issue the sign permit in writing, if <br /> (A) After an examination of the plans, specifications, and other data, the chief <br /> engineer finds that the sign(s) that is the subject of the application conforms in <br /> every respect with the requirements of this chapter and all applicable statutes <br /> and ordinances; <br /> (B) The application has been reviewed and approved by the electrical inspector, if <br /> required pursuant to section 3-5-3; and <br /> (C) The application has been reviewed and approved by the planning director. <br /> 14 <br /> <br />
