<br /> s <br /> (b) The chief engineer shall keep an accurate record, in a form approved by the director of <br /> finance, of all fees and fines received, pursuant to this chapter, and shall deposit all monies <br /> received with the treasurer. <br /> (c) The chief engineer shall annually render an account of all permits issued and monies <br /> received to the council. <br /> Division 8. Construction Specifications <br /> Section 3-27. Wind resistance; support. <br /> Every sign shall be constructed to withstand, i.e. not flap, bend, or move when subjected to <br /> wind pressure of not less than thirty pounds per square foot of area. In addition, all signs shall be <br /> rigidly and firmly braced and securely attached to the building or structure by metal bolts, <br /> anchors, chains, cables or guys. <br /> Section 3-28. Wood construction. <br /> Any wood used for a new sign or For the repair of an existing sign shall be rot and termite <br /> resistant through an approved preservation method specified by the American Wood Preservation <br /> Association, or by any other preservation treatment approved by the chief engineer. All wood <br /> construction shall meet fire resistive requirements as specified by current building code <br /> requirements. <br /> Section 3-29.
