Changing the District Classification <br /> <br /> from Multiple Family Residential (RM-1) to Resort-Hotel V-.75) will add more congestion <br /> <br /> to an already over congested area. That in conjunction with the original zoning of 48 <br /> units and no commercial to the expanded 67 unit with commercial makes absolutely no <br /> <br /> sense. <br /> <br /> You must be aware of the severe congestion our highways and streets have now <br /> <br /> without the infrastructure to support. Adding this project seems completely ludicrous. <br /> Our infrastructure needs to be updated to compete with what we already have and not <br /> <br /> to add to the problem with more units and commercial space. <br /> I have lived in Kailua-Kona for 25 years and have witnessed the growth without the <br /> supplemental infrastructure to go along with the growth. Voting for this Bill is a <br /> complete travesty and will only add to the congestion we already have to deal with on a <br /> daily basis.
