<br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 161 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. JS 1.58 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY <br /> CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO EXCEPTIONAL TREES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 14, Article 10, of the Hawaii County Code, 1983 (June <br /> 2005 edition), is amended by removing a tree from the existing list of thirty three <br /> exceptional trees, and renumbering, as follows: <br /> SECTION 14-65. Designated Exceptional Trees. <br /> The following tree is to be removed from the "Exceptional Trees of the County of <br /> Hawaii" list: <br /> TREE TAX MAP KEY AND LOCATION OWNER <br /> [15. Quinine 2-3-05:1 County of Hawaii <br /> Cinchona sp. Kalakaua Park] <br /> SECTION 2. The subsequent items on the list shall be renumbered accordingly. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application <br /> thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other <br /> provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid <br /> provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be <br /> severable. <br /> <br />
