The Department of Parks and Recreation has requested the assistance of District 1 <br /> Contingency Account monies for a portion of this project. The Department of Water Supply will facilitate <br /> the implementation of these materials. <br /> This sprinkler system will fulfill a mandate by the Department of Health that the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation remove the potential of fugitive dust becoming a health hazard to the homeowners residing <br /> adjacent to Honoka`a Arena. Fugitive dust is defined as: Dust that is not emitted from definable point <br /> sources such as industrial smokestacks. Sources include open fields, roadways, storage piles, etc. <br /> Specific improvements to be funded by this bill include the following: <br /> 1. Procurement of required materials: 1-1/2" meter <br /> 2.
