Privatization <br /> 2. Retain the Transient Accommodation Tax Formula for each County <br /> 3. Retain funding levels for Purchases of Services for non-profit agencies <br /> 4. Appropriate funding for improvements to Puainako Street and its extension to <br /> Saddle Road ($7,600,000) <br /> 5. The Council further supports Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro's proposal for Capital <br /> Improvement Projects and the University of Hawaii at Hilo's Legislative Package <br /> Initiatives. <br /> 6. Exemption from GET from County <br /> CAPITOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT DISTRICT PRIORITIES: <br /> 1. Kaumana Drive (Chong Street-Alahelenue Street) <br /> $1,500,000 to construct drainage/safety improvements <br /> 2. Support continued construction of improvements to Saddle Road <br /> 3. Obtain right of entry for State land across the Civic Complex for pazking and other <br /> uses.
