<br /> Yes, the reason why the hunters asked that cats be licensed was because the animal control bill as
<br /> you have noticed is really very biased against dogs especially in the area of barking. So the hunters
<br /> were lashing back at cats saying that since the spay and neuter program includes both dogs and
<br /> cats but the fees are only coming from dog licenses, then maybe the fees should also come from
<br /> cats too. If Advocate wants to get the council to remove the cat licenses, then maybe Advocate can
<br /> help in the area of lessening penalties for dogs so that we can get the hunters to support our cause
<br /> too. I don't know, its just a suggestion.
