AGING <br />AGING <br />Services Contracted to PrivatelState Agencies (continued) <br />The annual special May edition featured the Outstanding Older Americans <br />Luncheon and highlighted the many and invaluable contributions of our older <br />residents. In addition to regular monthly Senior Profiles of older individuals <br />who have made a difference in our communities, the publication printed articles <br />on caregiving, healthy aging, health screenings, and cooking nutritious food; <br />introductory gerontology classes; eldercare related legislations and the Medicare <br />Prescription (Rx) Drug Discount card. <br />97% (n=67) of readers surveyed are satisfied with the quality of the publication <br />and on the average 4 out of 5 readers indicated that the newsletter is <br />informative, beneficial, useful and carries relevant information. <br />Transportation. <br />Provide nutrition participants served the opportunity to evaluate the program through <br />a survey of which at least 70% of nutrition participants surveyed who are transported <br />to a congregate meal site three to five days per week will maintain or improve their <br />nutritional risk assessment survey scores. <br />Information not available. <br />Final Status Report on Program Objectives for FY 2004-05 <br />
