No. 261-06 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 4:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 261-06, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 261-06, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 233 by Director of Finance <br /> William Takaba, via Communication No. 697, dated February 8, 2006, authorizes the receipt and <br /> expenditure of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) award of $33,500 for the Pahoa <br /> Weed & Seed Program. <br /> The YMCA of Honolulu, through the State of Hawaii Attorney General's Office, has received <br /> $33,500 through the State Legislature designated for the Pahoa Weed and Seed program. The <br /> YMCA is awarding the above amount to the Hawaii County Police Department for services <br /> related to enforcement in their Pahoa Weed and Seed proposal.
