MAHUNA, POLICE CHIEF <br /> SUBJECT BILL 214 <br /> GENERAL FUND -FUND BALANCE APPROPRIATION <br /> The Police Department requests that the Hawaii County Council reconsider its proposal <br /> to transfer $4,000 from Account 010.201.5201.02 to the Council's Contingency Relief <br /> Account. <br /> Due to health reasons, the Police Commission's Secretary was one of several County <br /> employees that are being required to relocate their offices. Since the Secretary was <br /> originally located at the County Building, the Police Commission budget did not include <br /> an amount for lease payments. However, due to the urgency of her particulaz situation, <br /> the Department has already found a new location for the Secretazy and paid the lease for <br /> the remainder of the fiscal yeaz with the understanding that the funding would be <br /> appropriated with the excess and available General Fund Balance. <br /> If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Kay Nishibayashi, Accountant IV, at <br /> 961-2274. <br /> KN <br /> Comm.
