No. 276-06 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br /> TIME: 10:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 276-06, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 276-06, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication <br /> <br /> No. 736, dated March 3, 2006, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from the Hawaii Island <br /> Golf Association. <br /> The Hawaii Island Golf Association has graciously donated a wall mounted Phillips Automated <br /> External Defibrillator (AED), model #M3857A, for the Hilo Municipal Golf Course, which will <br /> be housed at the golf course starter's office. The value of this donation is estimated at $1,875. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> A letter of appreciation will be sent to the Hawaii Island Golf Association, 82 Makalani Street, <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720, acknowledging this generous donation. <br /> Some Members of Your Committee expressed concern over who would conduct training on the <br /> AED. Council Chair Stacy K.
