rtYa <br /> Ce ~ ~~r6 <br /> ~I~ <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ~T~•U~•M~''r <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 331 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND <br /> FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, a $9,677.00 appropriation will be used by the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation to purchase two new scoreboards for Kamehameha Park Gymnasium; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kamehameha Park Gymnasium hosts numerous competitive high school sports <br /> events which require timekeeping and scoring; and <br /> WHEREAS, the existing scoreboard at Kamehameha Park Gymnasium only serves half the <br /> facility and cannot be seen by spectators sitting adjacent to it; and <br /> WHEREAS, two new scoreboards will be visible from throughout the gymnasium and will <br /> facilitate more accurate timekeeping and scoring for both spectators and players; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has solicited an acceptable bid from a <br /> <br /> private contractor to remove the existing scoreboard and replace it with two new remote-controlled <br /> scoreboards; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is ready to proceed with this prgject <br /> upon receipt of this appropriation. <br /> <br />
