Higa <br /> County of Hawaii <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Dear Chairman Higa: <br /> Subject: Request for an Amendment to the Current Draft of Bill 236 <br /> The Amended Capital Budget and Six Year Capital Improvements Program 2006-2007 <br /> We respectfully request your favorable consideration in amending the current draft of Bill 236 to include the <br /> reappropriation of the "Dirt Bike /ATV Track" account (110.599.5591.71.115) in the amount of $100,000 <br /> which will allows currently allotted funds (approximately $29,552.53) to remain viable for this worthwhile <br /> project and allow for additional funds to be allotted in the future. Due to circumstances outside the control of <br /> our department, the existing funds were not able to be expended in time though it is foreseeable that the <br /> balance of the funds will be expended within this calendar year.
