The people and the neighbors of these proposed subdivisions have a right to <br /> know about decisions that will affect their properties and their lives. <br /> The Subdivision Control Code was established to protect the island from the indiscriminate, <br /> illegal and harmful actions or lack of actions by the county. The result of the unplanned sprawl <br /> is evident throughout the island from the lack of planning for infrastructure creating horrendous <br /> traffic problems.
